Norfolk Summer School
Norfolk University Access Programme
6th-10th July 2020
The Norfolk Summer School offers advice and support to sixth form students from across the county who are aiming for some of the UK’s most competitive university places.
Hosted by Norwich School from 6th-10th July 2020, the programme offers unique opportunities to students, enabling them to make informed decisions about their applications to Oxbridge and the country’s other top universities. Through a series of subject tutorials, personal statement guidance, career advice, mock interviews, as well as visits to Oxford and Cambridge, the Norfolk Summer School has had a transformational impact on previous participants. Students go on to secure places at Oxford and Cambridge, medical schools and to study on a wide range of demanding courses around the country and in Europe.
We are delighted to announce that this year's Norfolk Summer School will be moving online and running flexibly to allow Year 12 pupils to be at their own School during the week. To complement their own academic work, the Summer School will be offering its usual mixture of lectures, presentations, subject-specific online seminars and 1:1 university advice as well as invaluable advice on how to write your personal statement. We will complete the week with suggestions for wider reading over the Summer Holidays. Summer School students will then have the opportunity to come for a face to face practice interview in the Autumn.
